Sunday Mornings at McGregor

1st-3rd Grade — Children have the option of attending Sunday School at 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00. They also have the option of attending a children's worship hour at 9:30 or 11:00. In Sunday School our children learn the foundations of the Bible and how to apply it to their lives. In Children’s Worship, the children are able to sing, learn, watch puppets and dramas, and get a Bible message age-appropriate for them. All children must be picked up by a parent/guardian once services are over.

4th-5th Grade — These children have the option of attending Sunday School at 9:30 or 11:00, and attending Worship with their parents at the opposite hour. The same lesson is taught both hours and your family should choose which schedule works best for you. Our 4th-6th graders are encouraged to begin developing their talents for the Lord, whether that be puppets, music, praying, or writing. We have a strong emphasis in these grades for children to find their own place in the Kingdom of God.

Wednesday Nights at McGregor

Team Kid — Learning about God, Using the Bible, Living for Jesus!
Think of a place where children have so much fun learning about how Awesome God is that they don’t want to miss a single week…where the music is so contemporary and engaging that the children leave humming the tunes, and the words help them remember biblical truths all week long…Where creative teaching techniques, integrating activity, scripture memorization and discipleship, are effectively used to teach children how to live a Christian life at home, at school and in their neighborhood…where adult shepherds love and encourage children while modeling Jesus. Think of a ministry where adult volunteers “coaches” serve with great joy and passion knowing that they are influencing the next generation of Christ followers. TeamKID meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 for children who are in 1st-6th grades.

Girls in Action — This program is available to girls from August-May. This program is also on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 and meets on the second floor of the Hope Building. GA’s meets so that girls may develop a passion for missions in the United States and around the World. The girls are involved in projects and learning about missionaries. Children's Choir — Choir meets on Wednesday nights from 5:30-6:20 and sings several times throughout the year in our Sunday evening services, along with a special Christmas program each year. For more information regarding one of our children’s choirs, call our Children’s Choir Coordinator, Susie Kackley, at 936-4880, ext. 1226.

Yearly Programs

Vacation Bible School — Our annaul VBS typically is scheduled in  June and meets from 6:15-8:30 p.m. VBS is an exciting time for children to come learn crafts, new songs, Bible study, and missions. The 1st-6th grade children are also involved in a worship rally featuring dramas, music, and a word from our Pastor. Children’s Camp — Camp is a great time for 3rd-6th graders to get away for a week to fellowship and learn more about Christ.
