Video study by Dr. David Jeremiah facilitated by Ron Holmes

No charge, Room:  H100

Core Classes

How To Study The Bible:  Basics

Taught by Nate Flood

No charge, Room:  H183

The Bible is accessible. It’s meant to be read and comprehended by everyone from armchair readers to seminary students. A few essential insights into the Bible can clear up a lot of misconceptions and help you grasp the meaning of Scripture and its application to your 21st-century life.  Join us in this Bible study basics course as as we explore the inductive Bible study method. We’ll learn how scripture came to be, how you can study it for yourself, and how you can find a new enjoyment of the Word of God.

Regular Classes

Basic Evangelism Training:  Way Of The Master

Video study facilitated by Bill Parlier

Room:  H186

Based on the award-winning TV series The Way of the Master, the Basic Training Course is specially formatted to train believers in a group setting to simply and confidently share the gospel with family, friends, and strangers.

These lessons will teach you to overcome your fears by using a proven, powerfully effective way to make the gospel make sense. You won’t be at a loss for words. You don’t need to be an expert in apologetics. Instead, you’ll learn the forgotten biblical principle of bypassing the intellect (the place of argument) and speaking directly to the conscience (the place of the knowledge of right and wrong) — the way Jesus did.

Men’s Bible Study:  Hebrews Part 1

Taught by Josh Martin and Cary Robinson

Room:  F202

The book of Hebrews was written to people in crisis. They were persecuted, tempted by the rampant sin around them, and doubting their faith in Jesus. It was not so different than what many of us go through today.

Hebrews shows us that Jesus is better than anything the world can offer. Hebrews offers clarity, hope, and confidence in what is true. Don’t give up! Christ is better!

Midweek Bible Study:  A Study Of The Life Of Moses Part 1

Taught by Teaching Pastors and Leaders

Room:  H100

Who really was Moses? Was he the sleek-and-trim, fun-loving animated man in The Prince of Egypt or the handsome, strong-hearted, superstar played by Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments? History and culture has depicted Moses in a variety of ways, yet only the Bible clearly depicts the man that God so miraculously used. God worked greatly through Moses in spite of many failures in his life, and He desires to do the same with you. Journey Together with us through the life of Moses and learn how God can change and use you!

We Will Not Be Silenced:  Responding Courageously To Our Culture’s Assault On Christianity

Book study by Erwin W. Lutzer facilitated by Dave Kreller and Jonathan Bowman

Room:  H184

Each day we watch as America moves further from its Judeo-Christian roots toward an ideology that has proven to be a disaster for a nation and its people. You may be frustrated feeling you can’t assert Biblical truth without condemnation.

In “We Will Not Be Silenced”, Dr. Lutzer prepares you to live out your convictions against a growing tide of hostility toward your values. Gain a better understanding of issues like racism, sexism, and poverty, while identifying the contradictions of secularism and the answers only the Gospel can provide.

Work As Worship

Taught by Andrew Falde

Room:  H185

Many Christians spend a great deal of time working and yet do not realize how their work intersects with their faith. It’s hard to relate their Sunday morning experience to the rest of their week.

God gives us our work, talent and skills so that through them we might worship Him. Scripture makes no division between the sacred and secular parts of our lives.

This Bible study will challenge all of us to consider the reason God calls us to work. It will cause you to consider why He may have you in your current position and encourage you to look beyond how your job, career, or business makes you feel and see purpose and significance in your work.

Through powerful biblical teaching, real-life documentary stories and engaging video illustrations, this series will help us understand the biblical mandate for work. We have been called to work with excellence, integrity, and diligence, and our careers are opportunities to be on mission for Christ in the marketplace. God gives us great potential for impact on our families, churches, communities and the world through the blessing of our work.
