Walk To End Alzheimer’s
Walk To End Alzheimer's
Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 9:00 AM
Join us as we participate in a very special Walk to End Alzheimer’s event. We will hold our very own “walk” on the church campus on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 9:00 AM.
What is this?
Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. This year is a special event because this year’s walk will not be a large in-person gathering. We are still walking — and calling on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.
This year, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is everywhere — on every sidewalk, track and trail. On event day, we invite you to participate in small, COVID19-safe teams while others in your community do the same.
If you walked last year, you most likely already have a profile that you can just renew and link to our McGregor team. Please share with others that you know who may be interested in being part of our team. We are so excited to partner again this year with our Lee County dementia community and show our support for those individuals and families walking the long road of dementia.
Join Our Team!
Upon successful registration for our team, you will receive one flower. On Walk Day, we will proudly wave them as we walk about the campus. If you would like to join our walk, please register at our McGregor Baptist Church Team web-page.
