What is The Evangelism Ministry?

“Creating a culture of personal soul-winning and reaching people that would permeate every aspect of the process of making fully devoted followers of Christ.”

We seek to create a culture of reaching that aims for 100% member participation through….

  • Multiple entry points for evangelism training emphasizing use of the Law principle
  • Mobilization within Life Group classes
  • Increased opportunities to engage our community in evangelism
  • Maximized effective and efficient visitor follow-up and assimilation

The Evangelism Ministry at McGregor Baptist Church is continuing to fulfill the Great Commission through our Life Group Classes.  Each class has an E-Leader that serves in partnership with the Evangelism Office.  Once trained in our Basic Training in Evangelism Course, E-Leaders are encouraged to provide training to their class as another function of their ministry role.

What Is a “Pray-Care-Share” Lifestyle?

Dear Church Family,
In one of our “LIVE at 7:55” web events, Pastor Russell mentioned this special opportunity below.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in darkness but have the light of life.”

For decades, we’ve wondered how we could organize our members to pray for their neighbors, and see, somehow, that effort expanding into the various communities where we live.  You see, it has to be the case that the Lord planted the members of McGregor Baptist Church where we are to help our neighbors discover the light of life. So, if you’re a member of McGregor, we’re asking you to consider joining us in becoming a Light to our neighbors and living an intentional Pray-Care-Share lifestyle. Right now, thanks to the web based tool “Bless Every Home,” it seems we have the opportunity we’ve dreamt about and prayed for.

Would you please click here to become a Light? It’s free and confidential. You’ll receive a map and list of your closest neighbors, along with emails at the frequency of your choice to pray for your next five neighbors that day. When you get a chance, walk or drive by those homes as you pray for them.

You can learn more by watching the short video below by Bless Every Home.

May God bless you as you bless your neighbors.

Wade Harmon

Pastor of Missions and Evangelism
