Teaches: Guitar – acoustic and Beginning Piano, Worship style
Brian Keating – Currently leads our 11:00 AM band-led worship service of McGregor Baptist Church. He is also the lead vocalist and plays acoustic guitar and keys for the Christian Band, “FOR A SEASON.” Among many accomplishments, one of Brian’s most memorable highlights was when the band was the featured as part of the preshow when “FOR KING AND COUNTRY” was in Fort Myers with Southwest Florida’s WAY-FM. To quote the band “Tonight was a night we’ll never forget! What an honor it was to get to share the stage with the gentlemen of FOR KING & COUNTRY! Thank you for believing in us.” Brian has recently returned from a mission trip to Zambia Africa where he had the opportunity to lead worship for the team as well as for the local Zambian church.
“My start at MBC, in January 2015, was supposed to be just a temporary position but God’s plan was much different and much better than I could have imagined. It’s been an incredible joy to serve with the worship ministry the last 5+ years! Singing and playing music has been one of my favorite things to do as long as I can remember, and it’s an indescribable privilege that I GET to do this every week. We’ve all been called to glorify God in all that we do, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity I have to serve on the worship staff at McGregor Baptist Church. I like to take time out of each day to thank Him for giving me the strength to get through the day. When I look back and see how far He has brought me, I know it’s only by His grace and nothing of my own doing. It causes me to have an attitude of gratitude”
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”⠀– Psalm 19:14
