Adolescence is an exciting time of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual development. Unfortunately, today’s adolescents are experiencing significantly higher rates of anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. What’s a concerned parent to do? This course is intended to help parents prepare for and navigate these challenges.
Taught by Josh Martin and Cary Robinson
Room: F209
When you know your time is short, what do you tell those you lead? The Apostle Paul knew his time on earth would soon be up, so he wrote to his young protege, Timothy, about how to continue on without him – about how to grow a healthy and strong local assembly of believers organized for a common purpose: The glory of God.
Taught by Teaching Pastors and Leaders
Room: H100
Do you want to learn how to pray more effectively, more meaningfully? One of the ways we can grow in our prayer life is to study some of the great prayers in the Bible to teach us how to pray in a way that God will honor and answer. Join us as we study together great prayers found in Scripture and learn better how to pray.
Taught by Kent Commons
Room: H184
How was the Bible ever compiled? Who decided why and what books should be included? Are we really sure that what we hold in our hand is an accurate version? How valid is the criticism of the scriptures? Join me for this Journey Together class to find out these answers and more.
Taught by Cody Stiling
Room: H185
We want to think biblically about the body that God has given us and understand it through the lens of Scripture. We will discuss and work through topics such as rest, work, gender, sexuality, health, death, and more.
Taught by the Women’s Ministry Teaching Team
Room: Fellowship Hall
Rather than leave you guessing or presuming about your eternal future and wondering if you are a true child of God, the Bible provides a clear answer in the book of 1 John about where you stand with God. As you learn how a person’s lifestyle reflects the character of the One to whom they belong – whether God or the devil – this study will help you learn what it means for a believer to walk in light rather than darkness. Come join us for this study of 1 John and discover how the key to lasting joy, peace, and confidence within the life of a believer is knowing for certain that God is your eternal Father and heaven is your permanent home.
For those who desire to study deeper into this content, the Women’s Ministry Teaching Team suggest you order the Bible study book.
