How Are We Connected?

How Are We Connected?

Through Life Groups, weekly Bible studies and Prayer groups, as well as other Special events, you will develop a better understanding of God’s Word and how it applies to your life. You will grow in the most important relationship you can ever have while becoming better prepared for the other important relationships in your life.

The Connected Single Adult Ministry is dedicated to sharing biblical truth while promoting fellowship through faith. Participation in Life Group studies, social gatherings, support programs and service events offer opportunities to grow relationships centered on Christ’s example of love and faithfulness.

Single Adults and their children (if event is appropriate for children) are invited to join us at any event. The purpose of these events is to have fun, learn, and have the opportunity to witness or be a witness for Christ to those we may come in contact with as we enjoy the day. We pray that at each event we will all grow in our walk with the Lord. Contact the Connected Adult Ministry for more information about these and upcoming dates.

Just to be clear… Jesus is the Master Teacher!

Have you been searching for a dynamic Sunday morning Bible study that deals with various topics, all of which you have or will experience in your life journey? Issues such as faithfulness, joy, peace, patience, loneliness, and finding God’s love, among others?

This Life Group tackles various issues through the Lifeway, “Bible Studies for Life” curriculum. If you are between the ages of 45 and 65 you will find others in your stage of life sharing in their growing faith. There are in-class as well as off campus gatherings held regularly, allowing even the most casual learner an opportunity to be a part of this loving group.

Master Teacher 2

Led By Kevin Mullings

Ages 55+ • Sunday 11:00 AM • F209

Just to be clear… Jesus is the Master Teacher!

Have you been searching for a Sunday morning Life Group that takes time going through the detail in the passages of the Bible? If so, this class is for you.

While approaching many different topics through the Lifeway, “Explore the Bible” curriculum this class additionally applies everyday life issues to those of the various stories told in the Bible. Many stories, like your own, relate to God’s message. If you are 55 or older, you will find others in your stage of life with similar interests. There are in-class gatherings held, as well as home and community connecting events held throughout the month.

Crossroads

Led By Arthur Keeley

Separated/Divorced Adults • Sunday 11:00 AM • F206

Are you at a crossroads in your life? Don’t feel abandoned. Finding a place of peace during divorce or separation from a significant other can be quite difficult. The days seem to go by at a slower pace and often with pain and difficulty. There is just no easy answer.

Thankfully, there IS an answer. The answer comes in the form of faith and spiritual determination in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Still, when going through difficulties, approaching healing in faith, may be harder to embrace than it would seem.

When you become a part of the Crossroads Life Group you will be introduced to people gifted with compassion and strength. This class goes through a series of topical studies that are biblically based over the course of 4 to 8 weeks at a time. Specific growth will come often in the form of person to person attention, video/media presentation, and good old-fashioned line by line, study of the Bible.

Messages will include input from great Bible teachers such as Dr. Tony Evans, Louie Giglio, Francis Chan and others. Listen to the Lord if He is leading you to this class.

Remember, you don’t have to go through this alone.

Crosstalk Weekends
